GTR Carbon All Terrain Series 2

I’ve followed the Evolve story since the release of the GTR and contemplated getting one for years but I recently ordered the GTR 2 which is perfect for my recreational use.
I’m almost 50, been skating all my life but being my first electric board I was nervous the first time I jumped on but within minutes, I felt comfortable because the board is so smooth and well built I was blown away by how deep it carves and how solid it felt I made my way through the modes in the first week, kept it limited to 20km/h for first couple of days while I get used to it now I’m using the boards full range and loving it.

Just keep in mind once this board brakes the warranty covers only the deck and motors! This is as per tech support feedback! Evolve board break a lot and repair is very expensive! Surprisingly my backfire zelly board lasted much longer without braking compared to evolve! And their remote connection quality can lead you to sireous injury or death! Almost killed my self in multiple cases from losing remote signal to apply brakes! Will lot recomend to buy this product for safety consern moreover for often high repair cost as well!

I've ridden this board everyday since I got it. I jump back and forth between all terrain and street set up pretty often. The controller interface and provided Y tool make switching it up a breeze. I've been esk8ing for about 8 years now and have had my fair share of electric boards but one thing is for sure. None of the other boards even come close to comparing to the quality and thrill of my evolve GTR carbon. Not only is it a quality product but you can tell it's designed by someone who has a passion for riding. With all the stuff you get from this purchase it's well worth the price point. Even if you are making your first board purchase the question shouldn't be what company should I buy from. It should be which evolve board am I getting carbon or bamboo.

Buying one of the evolve boards was such a hreat experience; the evolve team were so helpful and informative.

I ended up buying the gtr carbon and later on went for a night ride in the city, and my mind was blown at how epic this board was, power 5 stars, performance 5 stars, quality 5 stars, heck take all the stars, evolve is the best!

I bought the Carbon All- Terrain Board back when it first launched as GTX. It was great and rode nicely for at least half a year. Later bought the conversion kit. I switched wheels maybe a handful of times, but mostly rode on the All-Terrain wheels because the wheels had more coverage.

After less than a year, the board's battery started giving me problems. The battery life pretty much reduced by over half, meaning the distance was cut about half of expected, and drained the rest of the percentage when it gave out. I kept the board in immaculate condition, never dropped it, always charged it, rarely hit bumps, mostly rode it for commutes a few times a week.

I contacted Evolve then to ask about it since I still had it purchased within a year and it gave me a manufacturer's defect. After many back and forth with their customer support they wanted me to ship it to them myself which would cost over $100. And even then it wasn't guaranteed that they would fix it for free.

During that time and place I sold it at a huge loss, and the person I spoke to apparently knew someone at Evolve and mentioned it was a common problem and was surprised they did not fix it for me. Disappointed, lost a decent amount of money, and moved forward with my life.

I ended up buying a motorcycle later on in life and in my honest opinion, much better commute option than an electric skateboard. However the portability and versatility an electric skateboard/ bike/ scooter has, gives you more access to certain locations which is the benefit.

If I do buy another electric skateboard again, which I have considered a few times, Evolve is still a great option compared to its competitors. It looks better, has much more range, feels more premium- perhaps their reliability long term has changed and I got a defected board, perhaps their warranties and service has improved.

I don't know, but Evolve is still near the top of my list if I were to buy another board again. Expensive, but if the reliability is their longer term, it would be worth it.

Hadean seems too much from my observation/ opinion, not only is it heavier, it costs over $1k more for only a 10 mile range increase and pennies increase in speed. Though the design is just as well done.

I love this board. It came with the off-road setup. However I wanted the street setup so I changed the wheels and belts right away after watching the evolve youtube video on how to do it properly. They just paved all the streets in my neighborhood so it has been super fun. I have figured out the perfect carving speed but it is awesome to let her rip. I am getting used to the fast acceleration and smoothing things out. 27 is trully top speed I am more comfortable at about 21. This board rocks!

super fun and nostalgic. more easy to balance than a regular skateboard. I am enjoying myself!!

Its fun, arrived with know all terrian wheels. Had to wait a week for them to arrive. 97mm wheel already has a chip taken out of the wheel.

And worst part is ingot stranded cause the wire from my motor fell off the clip? And rubbed on my motor while riding causing one side to lock up. Customer service made it right by sending me replacement parts but just got clips to hold up the motor wire which blows my mind these are not "preinstalled!!!!!!

Recieved my motor controll and customer serivixe sent me the bamboo verison instead of the carbon...... have owned for 3 weeks only able to ride 3 days before issues occured.

Contemplating sending back for full refund waited 2 months at a $1600+ investment to have minimal usage is horrible 😔 i just want to ride

Best purchase of my life! Gets me out and about! Got some speed to it, which is fun and awesome quality and durable

Awesome board guys, super stoked with it

I've taken up snowboarding this winter and found this board to be a fantastic tool for honing my skills during the summer. It has exceeded my expectations. The carving experience is very similar to snowboarding, and it's also enjoyable for daily cruising, thanks to its large wheels. I've been riding it for a week now and have covered about 70km. There's still so much potential to explore with the board as I continue to improve my riding skills.

Definitely recommended.

This might be a cheesy review but I’m completely hooked to this thing. First time skateboarding. I’m on it everyday getting my fix. any terrain, kerbs, parks, hills, streets. crazy. The carbon suits me cos I can lock my feet front and back. I can’t imagine doing what I’m doing without. why did I not get one sooner

I have ridden a few skateboards for a while and never owned an electric one until this year, over the course of some few trips with this one - I'm in love with it and haven't even looked back.

It’s been so long since I’ve given myself an outlet anywhere. Since the pandemic and over the last few years, I’ve developed such isolation from not only the people I love around me, but from myself. I developed panic and suffered anxiety. So much so that I knew I need to start chasing happiness. I got the Evolve Skateboards I went out and felt as free as anyone who has fallen in love with something they love doing every day. This has been what I would consider life saving. And sure if some of my anxiety felt dangerous, but this is starting to give me so much excitement about what I can experience every single day and where I can take Evolve and where it can take me. I am absolutely in love with my purchase, and if my story can show that happiness is out there you can save others too, and I won’t stop praising it.

All I can say is wow… Great fit and finish and whilst I have it dialled down to suit my lack of experience the performance is great. Putting 10-15km a day in and I couldn’t be happier. Some would say I’m stoked……😆

I love the way it looks. And I am loving the way It rides So far still getting used to it? I will keep you posted.
