The Ride
If you’ve skated before you’ll appreciate the pop in this deck thanks to our new relationship with one of the most premium deck manufactures in the skateboard world. The GTR deck is constructed of bamboo with the addition of fibreglass which puts you in the goldilocks zone for flex and strength. Adjust the drop-through truck position to make them closer or further apart to dial in your ride and enjoy the low profile feel, just the way you like it. Whether you’re into short and sharp or long and deep carving our bamboo deck has a classic longboard vibe and will give you a softer feeling underfoot. But don’t let that fool you, coupled with our street wheels this board is like a cheetah unleashed. Super fast, grippy and smooth, the Bamboo GTR Street is responsive yet nimble and it likes to eat hills for breakfast. Corners will turn into apexes, open stretched into runways, and wide open paths will make your list of favourite powder runs!

The Evolve Bamboo GTR Street offers even more flexibility for the riding enthusiast than ever before with 2 power USB ports and a new airline friendly swappable battery option for those who want to take their Evolve boards with them when travelling. Now you can also track and share your rides and compete against the worldwide community on the new Explore by Evolve app, along with over the air updates for IOS and Android phones. Unlike other boards on the market, the Bamboo GTR Street is compatible with our All Terrain Kit which completely changes the feeling by opening up a world of new paths for you to explore.
The Remote
The Evolve Bamboo GTR Street offers more riding modes than ever before allowing riders of any level to safely enjoy the product and have the ability to adjust your riding mode while riding to suit conditions and maximize efficiency. Use ‘ECO’ mode for easy control and safe top speed, perfect for beginners and those ridings wanting a relaxed ride with the longest ride times. Use ‘PRO’ mode to whizz past traffic and turn your commute into your daily adrenaline rush hour, and if you dare, switch to GTR mode to unleash insane power and acceleration with the ability to climb hills of up to 30% gradient. For those that want a power curve that is different to ECO/PRO/GTR modes, select CUST (custom) mode on the remote, then open up the Explore by Evolve App and dial in the power curve to suit your riding style. In this mode, you can adjust the power to be weaker or even stronger than the stock speed mode settings that come with the R2 remote.
WARNING: The Evolve GTR and Stoke Series are high performance electric skateboards. It is strongly advised that children under 16 years, or new to electric skateboarding, only operate the boards under supervision with full safety gear including a helmet. PRO and GTR mode offers performance capabilities not suitable for beginners and children AND can allow the rider to get in situations that may increase risk in operation. ie: GTR mode will fast allow the board to climb extremely steep hills that will be dangerous to ride back down, even when using the brake. While programming is in place to limit climbing of dangerous inclines, the rider must understand the power this board can offer must be respected for safe use.

Free Shipping on all our boards, sent through registered courier. Our boards must be handled as dangerous goods due to lithium battery regulations which may require a mandatory overnight holding period, which can affect shipping times.
Accessories
Shipping cost at flat fee of 30 AED. All accessories are sent via courier and can take 1-2 days to arrive depending on the region.
We are unable to ship to PO boxes or temporary accommodation. Please provide us with a home/work address with telephone number and ensure your billing/shipping address is correct.

Love the board, it was great for the first 2 weeks of casual riding but just today it suddenly launched me of the board as it disconnected from Bluetooth and it won’t sync back with the controller/board. Luckily I’m ok just a scare but I really didn’t understand why this happened? I also noticed the motor cable rubbing on the actual motor causing it to grind down. Please help me!

Thanks for letting us know about the issue. We're really sorry to hear about your experience and glad you're okay. There can be several reasons why a board might stop suddenly, but this can be diagnosed. If something is broken, we can fix it. By the looks of it, the motor cable rubbing against the motor could definitely be causing the problems.

Fantastic looking and riding board!
Make sure that you update the controller on the correct size wheels, Miles, or Km, and Most Importantly, You Have to Calibrate the remote. Otherwise, your breaks will not work when you need them.
It's so much fun and completely different than the carbon. I'm loving it!

Amazing board, but very disappointed I accidentally found the 'I am Your Future' limited edition. It's a piece of art!!
So now I need to buy a standard one that I'm happy to get dirty! Just kidding, but seriously, if you can get your hands on that limited edition, do it. Amazing to ride and looks THE BOMB mounted on the wall.
I haven't taken it out of Safe Mode yet, lwts just say this board deserves a healthy respect!

Love the GTR, now looking at a Stoke to travel with.
Bought this longboard, absolutely loved riding it for the first couple of weeks. Then started having issues with my remote. It got stuck in safe mode. So I reset the trigger values, and still no luck getting the board to move. I sent it in via warranty claim...they make you pay for shipping up front then reimburse you with a gift card. But that never happened. Took weeks get get it repaired, they said they had power outages at the facility. Kept calling, nobody answers the phone. Always just get a voice mail. Finally, I get a BILL for the remote. They say it has external damage but it was brand new, never dropped, never fallen. Just quit working. They won't stand behind the product and I'm out a board. They have my remote and won't send it back unless I pay. The board is great, the remote stinks, and the customer service is worse. I really had high hopes, but after this experience I'm left really disappointed. Evolve, if you're listening...make this right.

I have investigated this with our US Service team. I can confirm that there are signs that the remote has been subject to physical damage; our warranty policy does not cover damages due to external influences. However, as a gesture of goodwill, we will refund you the cost of the repair.

The price is a tad high for a longboard, yes, if you view it simply as a longboard. As a means of transportation, fun, and a utility, this is worth every penny. Easy to maintain, more routes to take than a car in cities, and an unlimited amount of freedom. This is, by far, the most exhilarating purchase I’ve made. The customer support is top notch, the board rides like butter, and the fun never stops. If you are questioning anything, it’s time to stop, click purchase, and see what adventure awaits.

This board is awesome, as soon as I unboxed it I was immediately impressed with the over all quality and feel of everything. It rides great would (and have) recommended it to my mates.

I've had an Evolve GT Carbon series 3 for many many years since it first came out, (what an incredible board, might i add.) but due to the ancient 8 year old battery cutting out frequently mid-hillbomb, it was time for a new board. The Hadean is a gorgeous piece of art, but was out of my price range. So I ended up choosing the GTR Bamboo! Man, what a smooth board so far. The beefy dual 3000w motors handle anything I throw at it, the battery range is huge, and I even was able to put on my ABEC 107mm's from my old board with zero hassle! The springy bamboo deck absorbs all the shock from bumpy roads, and the edge to edge grip tape lets me position for some nice deep carves without worrying about my feet slipping off the board. I'd keep going, but you'd be better off trying one for yourself!
TL;DR:

Cons:
-Weighs a LOT.
-Unable to use shredlights rear lights due to truck screws not being long enough to accommodate the standard mounting brackets, so I bought the prism strip LED lights for increased visibility

I give it five stars even though I have not tried it. I am trying to get it and I am trying as much as I can, despite the distance. I live in Algeria. It is difficult to provide and deliver it to me in our area, but for every problem there is a solution. The best that could happen is that I win one of them. Haha. Thank you. It looks fun.

Ordered 2 weeks ago and no tracking, no communication, no one answers phone.
I bought a cheap electric skateboard out of amazon to see if I would like skateboarding and not even a week I upgraded it to the GTR bamboo.. I love it. when weather allows, I even commute to work on it.

I’ve even ordered the bag and a set of lights for night riding.
I’ve had a few Evolve boards and the second generation takes the case in sweetness. My favorite difference… the brakes… they’re stellar. I also love the new remote. From my position there is only one e-skateboard company. Awesome job evolve!!
This board is amazing. It is beautiful to look at, easy to ride, and stable at high speeds, or at least I think it is. (It's so powerful I haven't even used Sport or GTR mode yet.) Evolve has been great to work with. Their communication is clear, and the product arrived in the US within a couple of weeks. I highly recommend the GTR Bamboo Street board, and the Evolve company. They're both top shelf.
