Hadean - Deck

As most of my boarding with the hadean is on concrete or tarmac, i find the hadean a superb ride, the feel you get from it gives the rider great confidence to push their skills to higher levels. I am 75kg, so the flex in the board is an ideal pairing with the 7” pneumatic tyres, i am an out and out carver (or a would be surfer) and it handles brilliantly.
I guess my biggest gripe would be that the remote i enjoy so much, actually caused the damage to my board which necessitated in my having to fork out $390. And to add insult to injury, the sales person i spoke to previously when i enquired, dismissed any possibility of a deal on a replacement deck new (or used i would have had) despite my telling her that i was also ready to buy a new hadean. Consequently i purchased an Exway Atlas (which is a great board) and i am very happy with it, but its not as good as the hadean, and then the following week i get an email about the new Diablo (which is the upgrade i knew would eventuate) and that is the board i should be riding around on now, but it was’nt even mentioned by the Salestaff? so much for aussie brotherhood! have i sufficiently sent everyone to sleep yet? so now i get an email asking me to review my deck purchase, what do you say, “im thrilled to be able to ride my bam boo again? perhaps up the road my pain will desist, and i will be able to justify the lofty tag on the diablo, we will see, until then enjoy life people and keep smiling!

Great workmanship

Love the Hadean, it’s more comfortable than the GTR in every way, has a better concave, better flex, wider. I really like it. I have the onrique, the GTR 2 limited edition, and I used the Hadean deck for a tynee explorer swap. Can’t wait to get the carbon Hadean, and renegade and project BMX, this summer will be lit.

Id like to thank the Evolve crew, My Hadean Bamboo deck snapped 2 weeks ago and the replacement deck was on its way to me after one phone call and an email with proof of purchase. I was still in my warranty period. This was such an easy process and my board was posted out that day. Im back on the road, Super happy!

I love, LOVE evolve, but tonight, after 3 months and little use , this deck broke on me in the front. It snapped on one side, and split on the other side of the front truck.

Snapped within the first week I had it heading a curb at under six kilometers an hour for 390 and now it's cost is gone up to 400 and something dollars which is absolutely ridiculous and you guys don't even replace it with warranty and if you did it takes two weeks anyway or probably almost a month

I had no Idea the original Bamboo Deck had an issue. When I picked up the board, a New Deck was fitted, something about a crack. I was extremely happy that Evolve replaced this even before I knew it was an issue. Happy Days.

Great customer service

Having to replace my old deck after it breaking, I ordered a new deck. I immediately noticed that the grip tape was not evenly applied to where screw holes lined up with the deck. Attaching the battery resulted in the grip tape loosening a great deal. Mid-ride, half the grip tape ripped off. Luckily, I was able to remove the grip tape from my old "broken" deck with the help of a hair drier, and re-attach it to the new deck where the grip tape can loose and ripped. Finally, I'm back to riding with grip tape that actually adheres to the deck.

To say I'm unimpressed as of late is an under statement.

I had to PURCHASE a new one and it arrives with crappy grip tape. Not cool.
The Bash Guard I ordered is gone forever, as it rattled loose (see prior review).

Having dropped over $2000, this isn't the type of product I expected to get...
However, I do LOVE my board and ride it all the time!! It's truly a blast!!

It is of poor design. The cutout at the front of the board weakens the deck 5x and looks awful. That was where mine delaminated on one side only and then snapped both sides. The options for the truck placement is not helpful because the board is so flexible that it bottoms out. Extending the wheel base would only worsen that problem. The board is overpriced for what it is. Also why are there extra hole in the trucks? Makes no sense. Cheapens the expensive board.

Had an issue with shipping company. Evolve took action right away and sent me a new deck. Recieved it very fast they got me up and going with no problem.. thanks guys

This deck feels really nice to ride with its extra flex, and I love how the dropdowns lock my feet in. Being tall, I find the extra length much more comfortable compared to the BGTR.
The downside is that it doesn't have much clearance when using smaller wheels due to the combo of extra length, extra flex, and dropdown deck. I also think the strength of the deck may be compromised by the cutout for the base plate.

Evolve stand by their customers! I had a fault with my first deck and Evolve replaced it without issue. Fantastic after-sales support and the team was quick to act and resolve the issue. It gives me confidence to keep coming back for the next rendition. The question now needs to be asked can they beat the Hadean . . . . .

The first one had a hard life and started Delaminating so it got replaced within 24hours . Great work new zealand evolve team 👏
